------INFORMATION ON TAKING PART IN THE COLLABORATION------

Okay! Since you guys were interested, let's see if we can't get this collab rolling!

Here's what we'll do!
Together we're going to construct a big group picture of many Harvest Moon (Official) Characters, drawn by all of you guys (and me!). After the deadline to finish has passed and I've gotten all of your pictures I'll put them together in a big pic and upload it here (and if you upload your parts separately I'll link to them too from the final pic!). I'll credit everyone who took part also, of course.

Anyone can take part and you don't have to be "OH MAN THE BEST AT ART EVER!", I still want you to be a part of this even if you feel your art isn't the best. ^_^ And it'll be in YOUR style! Not mine. You can draw the character YOU get as YOU want!

Okay, what's the rules?
- You guys will give me a short list of 5 characters that you'd be interested in doing and I will tell you which one you get. It'll be first come, first served (which is why I'll get you to list 5 in order of who you'd like to do most) so if someone posted before you taking your top choice, I'll give you the first next choice on your list that is available. Please check if the character you'd ask for hasn't been already listed in this journal as taken. I will list all that are taken by others here for convenience.

- If you finish your picture and give it to me before the deadline, I'll give you a chance to draw another character for this, as long as you're willing to finish it. (With some exceptions for people I KNOW will finish.)

- You can pick any Harvest Moon character from any game of the main series. (This is not including Rune Factory or Innocent Life.) Please state which game the character is from in your comment too. If there are multiple forms of the character (like for example Luke from ToT and Luke from AP or Kurt from Save the Homeland, Kurt from Magical Melody and Kurt from Hero of Leaf Valley) only 1 of each will be accepted into the picture. If you get this character you can draw them in any of their outfits however. (Alex and Doctor, Gray and Blue, Basil and Parsley etc. are considered different characters. If they have a different name, they are seperate). If you pick a character from Grand Bazaar or Twin Villages PLEASE state so so I can look them up. These games aren't out here yet, so I'm not familiar with them.

- No fan characters please, only official characters. And no tools either. Though I will let people do animals.

- Only put yourself down for a character if you are willing to draw them in time for the deadline. If you take a character but don't draw them, you are taking that character away from someone else who may want to do them and actually finish.

- You can use any medium (traditional or digital), but please don't draw on lined paper. All pics must be full body (no waist shots even if you think your legs look really bad, they probably don't! ) and coloured in (no sketches will get into the collab, sorry. )! If it's computer drawn PLEASE save your images IN PNG FORMAT WITH TRANSPARENCY. If it is traditional it would be preferable if you can make it a transparent PNG. If you can't a LARGE jpg will do. Please scan in your images rather than taking a photo of them as photo shots are very hard to see. Please give all pictures to me as large as you can.

- Please don't put any signatures or watermarks on your art, I will do this for you in the final so you don't have to worry. ^_^ Putting it on in the pic you give me will only damage the quality of the final piece.

-Please don't put a background on your picture, this will make it too hard for me to put into the final picture.

- No bases please. Please draw your character yourself without the aid of a base. Pictures drawn on a base wont be accepted and if I find someone has used a base for their part I will have to remove it from the picture. Sorry guys!

- How should you pose the character? Any way you like!

- Send all your finished pictures to me via note as it'll be easier for me to keep track!

I have made them transparent pngs, which is what I would prefer if you guys did for me. They're full body, lined and coloured in. I have watermarked these versions... feel free to watermark your entry if you upload it to dA, but please give me a version WITHOUT a watermark for the final picture otherwise I wont be able to use it.

IMPORTANT NOTE

As you will notice if you look at the example, I have drawn Vaughn. However it's obviously the Vaughn I usually draw. I will let ONE other person draw the NORMAL Vaughn (as in the one with the hat and cowboy gear) for this collaboration too as my version is so very different. This will be the only exception on multiple characters.

Make sure you choose wisely. These choices have to be characters you are willing to draw! Once you see your avatar and character you got appear on this journal you can start drawing them! The sooner you hand yours in the better. And if you hand yours in with enough time to spare you can pick another character to do too (only 2 maximum methinks, this may be subject to change). I will mark the people on the list who have finished their part.

When's the deadline? D8
I'm going to give you guys lots of time to get your pieces done! I'm off on holiday for 3 weeks starting the 24th of August so the deadline will be after I get back. I will set this date to be the 16th of September, the Friday after I get back! Please sign up as soon as possible though, as I wont be accepting new sign ups close to the deadline as it would be hard for you to finish your pieces in time.
