Turbo (Tudyk style)

I wasn't sure if I wanted to try the whole "Draw Turbo's hair" thing... but then I thought... hey.. considering all the other main characters have hair just like their actors, Turbo probably would too, so I tried to give him a do like Tudyk... rather than.. say... Skrillex... who doesn't voice him...

I also have this picture with a hair colour closer to Tudyk's, but the brown doesn't go as well with his skin colour so much, it'd look great if his skin weren't so grey, hahaha! XD (I still like it though...) I went with black because it works with the grey.. and also because in concept sketches of him.. the ones where he HAS hair is either black lines or a black... scribble... so... errr.. not really much to work with.

I decided to put more detail onto Turbo's outfit like he has in his sprite.. I'm not sure why they left the stripes down his arms out of the 3D model... I also know that the white bit on his collar is supposed to be a shiny button... but I just prefer it looking like a fat zip bit, hahaha! XD I'm not a fan of metal buttons. His boots are based on the concept sketches too... since that's the only "detailed" view I can find of his feet, besides the sprite which is just... red with white soles I think? Anyway, that's my thought process.

This is also the first full body, properly done, fully my style, fully coloured picture of Turbo I've done (and finished that is...).

I think I still prefer his helmet... hmm...
